Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...).

Cuban Improvised Mack Armored Car Type 1. Built in 1933.

Cuban Improvised Mack Armored Car (1933)

View Post Friday, October 19, 2012 (http://tanks-and-support-vehicles-1925to1950.blogspot.com.es/2012/10/cuban-improvised-mack-armored-car.html) which demonstrates that oral testimony, attesting that the Cuban armored car was built on a US truck chassis "Liberty", are erroneous.

The armored car was built in 1933, on the chassis of an American truck "Mack AC" of 1917.

At first, not knowing the true origin of the chassis, I decided to call Type 1, but now we know its chassis, the correct name would be "Mack Armored Car"

Note: as you can see by the pictures of the two Post dedicated to Mack Armored Car model, there is little difference in size of the rear platform of wood, between the two vehicles. Are these two different vehicles, or just a small reform?.

Coche Blindado Improvisado Cubano Mack (1933)
