was formed by amalgamation of the 13th Hussars and
the 18th Royal
Hussars (Queen Mary’s Own).
In December
1935, it was named as 13th/18th Royal Hussars
(Queen Mary’s Own).
In April 1939 was integrated into the Royal Armoured Corps as a Regular Cavalry Regiment.

Battle of France of 1940, was added to the 1st Infantry Division as H.Q.
