Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...).

Police Daimler ‘DZVR’ Armored Car (Schupo-Sonderwagen “DZVR”). Munich, Germany, circa 1943.

Police Daimler ‘DZVR’ Armored Car (Schupo-Sonderwagen “DZVR”). Munich, Germany, circa 1943.

Soldiers belonging to a unit of the Wehrmacht (Police?) pose on a Daimler DZVR Armored Car (probably the "Bayer Landespolizei No. 9") that had belonged, since the early 20's, to Landespolizei Bayern (State Police Bavaria).

These models Daimler, along with other similar of the brands Benz and Ehrhardt, were manufactured from 1921 for exclusive use of the German police.

Several of these armored cars, in view of graphic documents, continued to be used (?) in Germany after September 1939.

An armored car, which is probably the same as that of this photograph, a post appears on the web "Landships", although there erroneously been classified as a Benz VP21.

Note: this post could also belong to my other blog "Armored Cars in the WWI" where there is a post similar to this: http://armoredcars-ww-one.blogspot.com.es/2012/04/daimler-dzvr-armored-car-gepanzerter.html

Coche Blindado Daimler DZVR de la Policía (Schupo-Sonderwagen “DZVR”). Munich, Alemania, circa 1943.
